FAQs
Marble Coaster Workshop FAQs
Our workshops use jesmonite, a lightweight alternative to concrete that dries more quickly. This makes it ideal for team building workshops as participants can take their creations home the same day.
Jesmonite is a quick-dry building material that combines a reactive mineral base with a water-based acrylic resin. It can be used to create decorative and functional crafts like coasters, trays, and more.
Yes, you can bring your marble coaster back home after the workshop because jesmonite cures quickly. However, crafts are still fragile in the next 24 hours and should be handled with care.
Materials include containers and measuring devices, pigments, jesmonite powder and liquid, mixing tools, and add-ons such as sealant or terrazzo flakes where applicable. All materials are provided at our workshops.
No prior knowledge is required. The workshop is beginner friendly and our facilitators will guide participants step by step through the marble coaster making process.
The minimum group size is 5 participants. We can accommodate groups of any size above that, from small gatherings to large corporate events with hundreds of participants.
Yes! We offer three venue options — at our studio, at your location, or as DIY kits. For corporate events, we can set up at your office, event space, or any preferred venue in Singapore.
Absolutely! You can choose from a variety of colours, patterns, and techniques including marbling, terrazzo, and solid colour designs. Our instructors will guide you to achieve your desired look.
